This workshop series introduces parents and caregivers to the foundations of Positive Discipline. We will take a deeper look at misbehavior and what children are trying to achieve with it. This approach fosters cooperation, understanding and mutual respect rather than power struggles. By the end of the series, you will have the tools that will strengthen your relationship with your child.

Esta capacitación cumple con las regulaciones del estado de California de 8 horas para proveedores de cuidado infantil. Aprenderá tratará sobre RCP/primeros auxilios desde el nacimiento hasta la edad adulta, aunque el énfasis se pondrá en RCP/primeros auxilios pediátricos. Las 8 horas se dividen en 4 sesiones. Primero participará en 3 clases nocturnas virtuales en vivo de dos horas de 6:30 p. m. a 8:30 p. m. a través de Zoom. Tenga en cuenta que hay un instructor en vivo del cual aprenderá el material en cada sesión. A continuación, practicará la reanimación boca a boca para salvar vidas y la atención en caso de asfixia con maniquíes en persona en nuestro edificio BANANAS un sábado por la mañana en uno de los siguientes dos horarios que le asignará el instructor: de 9 a.m. 11:00 a. m. O 11:10 a. m. a 1:10 p. m. Los días varían según el mes. Debe asistir a las cuatro sesiones para recibir la certificación, sin excepciones. Esta es una certificación de 2 años.

This class is designed to assist new parents with recovery after birth, provide a supportive community-centered environment, and an awareness of self-care. With their babies present, parents can focus on easing tensions, restoring alignment in the body, creating energy and re-strengthening the core.

Join BANANAS for a three-part Maternal Health series as we explore each stage of Maternal Health: A Journey to a Healthy Pregnancy, Breastfeeding 101, and Postpartum Care. Maternal Health refers to the health of women during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postnatal period. Discussion will include how each stage can be a positive experience, ensuring women and their babies reach their full potential for health and well-being.

When your little one has a meltdown, you don’t want to lose your cool and say things you regret. In this workshop you’ll learn the key to helping your child work through their upset and get back to calm, cooperative behavior. There are practical and powerful ways to keep your cool and be less reactive when things get heated that can help you be a confident parent.
